This is the first video in the 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway Series! For a chance to win my book DIY Braids you can enter on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Hi friends! My book is finally here! It felt so amazing to hold the first copy of my book in my hands. This is a dream come true and to thank you for all your support I’m going to be posting 12 videos over the next few weeks and giving away 2 books for each video. If you follow me on facebook, twitter or instagram you will have seen a picture like the one above. This is the key to winning yourself a copy!
12 Days of Christmas Giveaway Rules:
Between now and Christmas 2013 I will be giving away two copies of my book DIY Braids for each of the 12 videos I will be posting. That is a total of 24 books that will go to my subscribers! Here’s how it will work:
I will be posting a video every other day at 10:00AM PST until December 25, 2013. You will have until 10:00 AM two days later to regram(instagram), retweet(twitter) and share(Facebook) the contest photo shown in this video and TAG asksash88. You can find the contest photo on my instagram, twitter and facebook fan page. Here are the links to those websites:
For each video that I post you can enter up to 3 times (once on twitter, once on facebook and once on instagram). So that means that if you posted on each of the 3 websites for all 12 videos you would have 36 entries into the contest. YOU MUST TAG ME so that I can see your post and enter your name into the drawing. After the two days are up all the names will be added to an excel spreadsheet and I will use random.org to pick two winners for that day. I will post the winner’s names on my blog by 5:00 PST the day they are drawn so please, please, please sign up for email updates on my blog and check it frequently. Here is a link to my blog:
Your entries will accumulate as the contest goes on so for the first drawing you could have up to 3 entries and by the 12th drawing you could have up to 36 entries built up. The more you enter the better your chances of winning!

Hi! I know I have been completely MIA on my main channel and that is because Grad school is NUTS. A full load in grad school is usually considered 9 hours (3 classes) but I’m taking 15 hours (5 classes) and they have been working us nonstop. Anyways, life has been crazy but now that I have had a little break from posting videos I have been rejuvenated and I’m inspired and excited to bring you guys more videos! Enjoy!
Hi Friends! So sorry its been a few weeks since I have posted! Between my parents selling their house, me moving to a new city, starting classes, helping my best friend decide on wedding plans and trying to keep up with my two YouTube Channels, I haven’t much free time. Also, I have been trying to learn my new camera (Canon Rebel t3i) and work with umbrella lighting. Basically, I’m trying to step up my game in every aspect of my life and its a lot of work. But I’m loving the new direction my life is taking and so many exciting things are happening right now. Change is inevitable in life and its just best to embrace it, work hard and enjoy the ride.
Anyways, onto hair! This little twisty do is very chic and can be worn pretty much to any occasion. I think it is particularly nice for work but could also look nice for a date, school or a formal occasion. The hairstyle basically consists twisting 4 peices of hair and pinning them on top of eachother, making the final piece wrap around the ponytail. Let me know what you think!
I got inspired to do these looks from a post I found on thebeautydepartment.com called “Quick Twist” found here . The look was supposed to be for only people with short or medium length hair but I modified it a bit to work for longer hair as well. Hope you enjoy!
Hi Friends. I thought I would start devoting a post every friday to videos I did before I started my blog. People have often asked if I had a place to post pictures of the hairstyles I did so they could reference them easily without going through the whole video…now I do! Sorry the picture quality isn’t that great. These are screen shots of the video that was on my old camera. Anyways I hope you enjoy!
