Hi! I know I have been completely MIA on my main channel and that is because Grad school is NUTS. A full load in grad school is usually considered 9 hours (3 classes) but I’m taking 15 hours (5 classes) and they have been working us nonstop. Anyways, life has been crazy but now that I have had a little break from posting videos I have been rejuvenated and I’m inspired and excited to bring you guys more videos! Enjoy!

Hi friends! So a few weeks back on here I mentioned I was starting a new channel all about fashion and my shoe obsession but I haven’t been keeping you up to date because I have been so busy with classes. Well here are two of the six videos I have already put up on that channel. I know you guys generally associate me with hair videos but fashion is my other passion
Please check them out and subscribing would be the icing on the cake!
This first video is Back to School Fall Fashion:
The second video is Fall Fashion of the Night:
Aren’t those total Barbie shoes? Childhood dream come true.
Tucked French Braid
Hi! So this is a really simple hairstyle that anyone who can french braid can do. Even if you can’t I’m sure you have a friend or family member who can do it for you! What I love about this look is that when you tuck in the braid it makes the bottom of the french braid look super chunky. Enjoy!
Unique Twisted Ponytail: I’m Back!
Hi Friends! So sorry its been a few weeks since I have posted! Between my parents selling their house, me moving to a new city, starting classes, helping my best friend decide on wedding plans and trying to keep up with my two YouTube Channels, I haven’t much free time. Also, I have been trying to learn my new camera (Canon Rebel t3i) and work with umbrella lighting. Basically, I’m trying to step up my game in every aspect of my life and its a lot of work. But I’m loving the new direction my life is taking and so many exciting things are happening right now. Change is inevitable in life and its just best to embrace it, work hard and enjoy the ride.
Anyways, onto hair! This little twisty do is very chic and can be worn pretty much to any occasion. I think it is particularly nice for work but could also look nice for a date, school or a formal occasion. The hairstyle basically consists twisting 4 peices of hair and pinning them on top of eachother, making the final piece wrap around the ponytail. Let me know what you think!

New Channel and Outfit of the Day!
The last few months has brought many changes–some hard, some exciting. The summer started with my childhood dog dying. I will embed the commemorative video I made below. I was pretty devastated by the loss because he was my little buddy the last 16 years. Then my parents decided it was time to move and so they sold our house and began building a house a few blocks from the beach. While I’m so excited to be that close to the water, your house growing up will always feel like your true home. I’ve had so many sleepovers, birthday parties and family memories in that house. The summer truly did feel like the end of an era. To top it off I’m officially moving up from undergrad to graduate school and my best friend is getting married in October. When did I grow up?
It was just a few years ago that I was a bright-eyed, 18-year-old heading off to college, nervous to see what life away from home would bring. Now I feel much older. But the summer was not all tears and nostalgia. So many amazing things have popped up in my life recently. I moved up to my university and into my new apartment (room/apartment tour to come!). I bought a new camera which you will see footage of in this outfit of the day. I begin my Masters of Public Health in Nutrition program on Monday. Last but not least, I am partnering up with NineWest for their new YouTube network to make a whole channel devoted to shoes and fashion! The new channel is called shoesbysash. Here is the link.
NineWest will also have a channel and here is a little teaser vid to show what’s to come…
Finally on to the outfit of the day!

3 Easy, Quick, Everyday Hairstyles
I got inspired to do these looks from a post I found on thebeautydepartment.com called “Quick Twist” found here . The look was supposed to be for only people with short or medium length hair but I modified it a bit to work for longer hair as well. Hope you enjoy!

How to get the Perfect Side Swept Bangs: 2 Techniques
I have two different techniques I use to get my side swept bangs to swoop across my forehead perfectly. The first one is better for longer bangs and the second is better for shorter bangs.
Technique #1: Flip bangs to opposite side while blowdrying. This makes your bangs want to lay against your forehead. When you are done blowdrying your hair, flip them to the correct side and they swoop just right.
Technique #2: Wrap your bangs around a large round brush and spin the brush in a downward spiral. This gives you more voluminous bangs than the previous technique.
